Grace-Ann Long is the founder and sole owner of ShadesbyGAL Cosmetics. The “GAL” in the brand name proudly represents her own initials — Grace-Ann Long — a reflection of her personal connection, integrity, and vision woven into every product.
Raised in Jamaica by her grandparents, Grace-Ann learned early the values of perseverance, ambition, and unwavering faith—principles that continue to guide her life and business today.
Grace-Ann holds a Master’s Degree in Business and Entrepreneurship, equipping her with a solid foundation in strategic planning, marketing, and leadership. She launched ShadesbyGAL Cosmetics in 2019, combining her love for beauty with her passion for empowering others.
Before starting the brand, she worked in a variety of professional roles that broadened her skills and business acumen. She currently serves as an Account Executive, a position that continues to strengthen her expertise in client relations and business operations.
From the early stages, Grace-Ann collaborated closely with manufacturers, suppliers, and packaging specialists to ensure each product reflected her high standards of quality and performance. Once her line was finalized, she dedicated herself to building awareness through brand partnerships, events, and showcases where ShadesbyGAL products gained recognition and credibility.
Through every challenge, Grace-Ann has leaned on her faith and resilience—qualities she openly shares in her two books, “God’s Grace” and “Finding Grace.” Her journey is a living testimony of perseverance and purpose, inspiring others to embrace their path and walk boldly in faith.

All orders are shipped within 48 hours, Monday – Friday.
Carriers
We use USPS to deliver our orders.
Order Tracking
If tracking information is provided by USPS, it will be shared with you once your order ships. Please note that some USPS First Class Mail packages do not include tracking.
Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are calculated based on product weight and destination. You will see the total shipping charge at checkout before confirming your order.
Back Orders
If an item is on back order, we will ship the available portion of your order first and send the remaining items once restocked—at no additional shipping charge.

Return Policy
Due to health and safety regulations related to COVID-19, we currently do not accept returns. However, if you are unsatisfied with your purchase, please reach out to us directly—we’re happy to speak with you and find a suitable solution.
• For your protection, we recommend returning any authorized items via UPS or insured Parcel Post.
• Return shipping fees are non-refundable (except in the case of damaged items).
• Exchanges are typically processed within 7–10 business days after receipt.
• Business days are Monday–Friday, excluding federal holidays.
• You will receive an email confirmation once your exchange has been processed.
• Only products purchased directly from shadesbygal.com qualify for return or exchange consideration.
